A Brief List of Struggletown Records Aims 

1. To put out music in a variety of formats for great bands
2. To pick up copies of music that people are selling and sell it to you, without the p&p at the price it costs for us to buy it
3. To put on shows to let people hear the bands we dig and most of the time make those shows free - every month at Bloc
4. For those show we publish a free Zine which covers the bands we like plus submissions from budding authors and journalists/people with opinions and keyboards.
5. To try and make connections between bands that could help each other out with tours etc.
6. To get promotional attention and press for the bands we are helping.

We take no money from bands, all we want is to break even - which in itself is a pretty big task. The best way you can help us is to buy the releases and tell people about what we do. Listen to the bands and tell people about them too. That’s the point. That’s the only way it can work.
